58’ Gibson Skylark Lap Slide Guitar



This is a beautiful 1958 Gibson Skylark Lap Steel Slide guitar. This is a very rare bird and in flawless condition but for the spider cracking in the nitro finish which is very cool.This is made out of Korina wood and has the Original '58 "Flying V" Logo on the headstock. It has all original electronics, single coil pickup, and original case.The case looks great; but just to let you know, only the middle latch works on the case.The outer two latches are missing, but the case still closes and protects the instrument. I bought this guitar a few years ago so I could play slide on songs that required it while still playing a standard fingering guitar. It sounds mean and awesome!Gibson Skylark Pickup Sounds similar to p-90 a nice growl but cleans up quickly when volume is turned down.Here is a great chance to buy an incredible sounding and rare slide guitar.The Original flying V logo on this thing is worth $300 alone.
